Kranjska Gora
Kranj is once again the official destination for the Tour of Slovenia, and this time the city will host the start of a very hard stage with over four thousand meters of elevation gain. The route will take the cyclists through neighbouring Italy—Tarvisio and the Predil Pass—and in the final part, after 13 years, the riders will again climb to the top of the Vršič pass. The ascent will most likely decide the stage, but the finish line will be in Kranjska Gora, so a lot can still happen there.
