For the first time, Škofljica is a partner of the Slovenian cycling tour. Already in the first part of the stage, the cyclists are faced with three climbs, which provide a window of opportunity for escape in order to gain some advantage before the final climb to Krvavec. The stage is not long, but it will certainly be dynamic. Competitors aiming for a top result will be active and it is assumed that the final climb will decide who will wear the green jersey in this year. Krvavec has been the goal of the stage several times, but cyclists never had to go as high as this year.
