Introducing stage 3 (6. 6.): Majšperk - Ormož (173.4km)

Very interesting stage will combine Haloze loop, organised with the help of all the municipalities of this beautiful hilly region, nearby flats, section through neighbouring Croatia, and finish at traditional race partner Ormož. Before the finish line, the cyclists will have to climb to Jeruzalem, which will surly spice up the race day.

What do the experts predict?

ANDREJ HAUPTMAN: "It's always nice to experience something you've never seen before. Uroš and I have cycled all over Slovenia, and we always discover that new and special experiences are within reach. It's great that we get to know new places through the race. Two technical climbs await the cyclists in the first 25 kilometres. Well-prepared cyclists will create a breakaway, but it's hard to predict how big that group is going to be. The rest of the teams will have to work hard to bring their sprinters to the finish line in Ormož. Only a complete cyclist can win, and we Slovenians also have such a cyclist, and I believe that he will succeed."

UROŠ MURN: "In my opinion, the dynamics of this year's race will be different than in the past, as we have more ProTeams than WorldTeams, and these teams are looking for their opportunities in a different way. I expect that the peloton will fell apart in this stage and that the teams will look at overall rankings at this point, before the fourth stage. We know these hills, the race has already gone over them twice and a larger group can easily split in pieces."
