First stage winner of the tour will be crowned in Rogaška

Organizers and regional partners held a press conference in Rogaška Slatina – on the world bicycle day they revealed all details of the finish in this world famous health resort.

Race will start on 19th June, with 171 kilometers long stage from Ljubljana to Rogaška Slatina. World famous resort will host finish of the stage for second time in the row, before that they hosted start of the stage for several years. 2018 winner of the sprint finish was Dutch Dylan Groenewegen.
Finish will be in the same place as last year – in front of the primary school in the city center – and we can again expect a sprint of the bigger group (with several stars from Giro).

Branko Kidrič, mayor of Rogaška Slatina, was of course also one of the speakers on the press conference: “Like in the past, we’ll again do our best to present ourselves as a credible partner of the race, and we plan to do that in the future years as well.” They really did a good job hosting the tour and we’re happy to hear that Rogaška Slatina will do the same in the upcoming editions. Race will have live broadcast on Eurosport and that creates great promotion for all race partners.
