Our new section Statistics Wednesday takes a look at the perfect age to win Tour of Slovenia, and how old/young were the oldest & youngest winners.

If you race for one of the teams that will attend 2019 Tour of Slovenia and you'll be 26 years 5 months and 10 days old on the last day of the race there is a good chance that you will take the overall victory! The above stated age is namely the average age of the all race winners to date.

Youngest race winner in the 25 years old history of the race was Italian Diego Ulissi that won in 2011. He was 21 years 11 months 4 days old on the last day of the race. Oldest winner is Croat Radoslav Rogina that won the Slovenian tour back in 2013. He was 34 years 3 months 13 days old in the finish of the last stage.

We don't have the start list for 2019 edition yet, but it's possible that the average age of the winners will go up. But it's even more possible that it will go the other way around and the average age will go down.
