Nippo – Vini Fantini after new victory

Italian procontinental team Nippo – Vini Fantini just finished their campaign on Giro d'Italia and is also no stranger to Tour of Slovenia. Marco Canola will most likely lead the team, he's their best rider right now and he already took four victories this season – three on the Tour of Japan and one on the Dutch race Volta Limburg Classic.

Team Nippo – Vini Fantini together won on five races this season. Iuri Filosi took one victory on Gran Premio Città di Lugano in Switzerland. Slovenian fans of cycling however still remember the victory of Pierpaolo De Negri that won stage from Škofja Loka to Kočevje on 2015 Tour of Slovenia. Pierpaolo is again in the team for Slovenian tour and stage finish will be again in Kočevje, which again makes him one of the favorites. If he wins this stage he we'll be the first cyclist on 24th edition of Tour of Slovenia that will wear leaders jersey.
