The Cycling Ambassador of Slovenia are going on the unforgettable cycling experience

SLOVEnia is diverse. Green. Active. And healthy. A little gem located in the heart of Europe, which four lucky cyclists will have a chance to experience. They will not only cycle along Slovenia, they will feel, taste, smell, hear and see Slovenia. And LOVE it at the end of the journey, if not sooner! Their adventure starts now, riders on 24^th edition of Tour of Slovenia will follow them shortly.

Slovenian Tourism Board has chosen four cycling ambassadors of Slovenia – they all come from different parts of Europe, but they will soon meet in Ljubljana and go for a great adventure! GoPro cameras will be with them all the time, so you will all see what they are up to!

Ambassadors are kind of scouts of cyclists from all around the world that will battle for the green jersey and stage victories on Tour of Slovenia that will take place from 15^th till 18^th June. Route of one and the others visit some of the same place, but competitors will have to think about the time and will not have time to enjoy the beauty of Slovenia, meanwhile the ambassadors don’t have to worry about anything and just go along.

Four ambassadors will start their trip on 30th May in Ljubljana. After that they will have five more days of traveling through different Slovenian regions, each day they will do up to 50 km on their bikes. First they will pedal through the historic center of Slovenian capital, but that’s just warming up.

On the next day they will already explore Peca Underworld in Koroška and later visit Jamnica Single Bike Park, where they will get a fair share of some of the best singletrails out there.

Now comes a twist – four ambassadors will split in three groups, each will go to different location. One to Maribor, one to Logar Valley and one to Posavje region. On the next day they will all visit Postojna Cave, then again split and visit Goriška Brda wine region, Slovenian coast and Soča Valley. Saturday will be a very special day! First they will do white water rafting on river Soča, then they will go to Kranjska Gora and attend Red Bull Goni Pony – hillclimb race with legendary Pony bikes. On the last day ambassadors will explore Bohinj and Bled region.
