Leaders jerseys on Tour of Slovenia

White, indigo, red and of course green. These are the colors of the race leaders in four different classifications.

WHITE JERSEY: BEST YOUNG RIDER
Starting with the white jersey for the best young rider. This classification is for all U23 riders on the race and is one of the more desirable jerseys as it can show in the direction of the future superstar.
Main sponsor of the white jersey is Fiat Slovenija.

INDIGO JERSEY: KING OF MOUNTAINS COMPETITION
Simply put… the jersey for the best climber on the race. There are quite a few climbs in all stages, but the competition will surly decide on the 4^th stage.

RED JERSEY: POINTS CLASSIFICATION
Often called a jersey for the best sprinter on the race, the red jersey is won by a rider who takes the most points in stage finishes and intermediate sprints. Maximum number of points for stage finish is 25, and 5 for intermediate sprints; there are 3 intermediate sprints on each of the stages, 15 in total. For this reason it’s not always won by a rider who wins a stage or two in the sprint finish.

GREEN JERSEY: THE WINNER
The most treasured jersey on Tour of Slovenia, worn by a current race leader and finally won by the overall winner.
