Tour of Slovenia continuous to be part of the UCI ProSeries

International cycling federation UCI has confirmed a good work of the Tour of Slovenia organizers and extended the race's ProSeries status for another three years. High category of the race, ranked just behind the UCI WorldTour, is a guarantee for great racing and participation of the world’s best cyclists on the Slovenian roads. Next edition will take place from 14th to 18th June 2023.

Tour of Slovenia has been part of the UCI ProSeries for the past three years, setting is alongside stage races like Tour of Oman, Tour of Norway, Tour of Belgium, Deutschland Tour and Tour of Britain to name just a few. In total there are 50 races of this category in the 2023 calendar, 20 of them are stage races. The best teams in the world are looking for victories on these races, as well as ProSeries and Continental teams, which makes racing very interesting and intense.

Bogdan Fink, Race Director: “This is a recognition of good work in the past. We want to thank all destinations, sponsors and fans that helped us develop Tour of Slovenia to an international show, of course same goes to the cyclists and teams that are racing on our roads and compete for the green jersey and other awards. The race got international recognition with the live broadcast on Eurosport, meanwhile we had 300 thousand fans on the roads supporting the riders, which only shows that Slovenia is also a cycling nation. Renewed ProSeries status is a recognition and an obligation, and we already look forward to see you all on the 29thedition!”

The organizer of the race is Cycling club Adria Mobil, biggest partners next to destinations are Telekom Slovenije, Adria Mobil, Krka, Fiat, Slovenian Tourist Board and Slovenian cycling federation.

Next edition of the Tour of Slovenia will take place from 14th to 18th June 2023, just in time for the last preparations for the biggest stage race in the World…
