Cycling club Adria Mobil celebrates 50th anniversary

Cycling club from Novo mesto, the organizer of the Tour of Slovenia, has created many outstanding success stories in its five-decade history and has strongly impacted the Slovenian and international cycling scene.

Novo mesto is considered one of the cradles of Slovenian cycling, and with the Olympic Center in Češča vas, it is also officially one of the regional epicenters of the development of cycling. At the heart of it all is the Novo mesto cycling club, which has been named Adria Mobil since 2005, and for a long time now there has been no room on the shelves of the club office for all the trophies and awards that cyclists and employees have achieved in all these years.

There is no lack of optimism and a characteristic winning mentality even at the high jubilee and the new season for the continental team.

 Cycling club Novo mesto - today Cycling club Adria Mobil - was founded on 18 May 1972 and has written many success stories in its 50-year history. Some of the best Slovenian cyclists started or developed their careers in the club and many went to sign for the World Tour teams and are among the world’s best. The club's team is also responsible for many cycling events, among which the Tour of Slovenia has a special place of honor, as well as for the great youth development program. The club is also restarting the Slovenian track cycling and is already making an international impact in that scene.
