4th stage (Laško – Velika planina) through the eyes of experts

The queen stage that will give us overall champion (very likely).

Bogdan Fink: "For the first time ever the stage will start in Laško. The road to Trojane is well known among cyclists, but this time we'll not stop for donuts. Climb to Črnivec is also very familiar. The last and the main climb of the day will first lead to Podvolovljek, then we have 2 kilometers to the finish on Velika planina. That road is still gravel, but it's going to be tarmac by the time of the race. I see breakaways in the first part of the stage, but there will be no mercy in the second."

Matej Mohorič: "I think it has become too fashionable to have gravel section on every race, so I look forward to the new surface. There are two hard climbs on the stage, I'm sure that the strongest rider on the last one will win the race. The very last section of the race is especially hard."

Andrej Hauptman: "This is the stage that will make Tour of Slovenia very attractive. We'll see a lot of fans on the race, but even more on this stage. The road will also visit Tadej Pogačar's home village, which is additional motivation for us. This is going to be a stage that we'll remember for a very long time.
Nobody will be holding back, everybody will have to be careful in every moment of the race and make sure you don't lose any seconds. The competition will be top-notch, so I expect an intense stage and battle for every second."
