Will we get 101st stage winner?

There are exactly 100 names on the list of the stage winners of Tour of Slovenia. Last one to be added was Rigoberto Uran that won 3rd stage in 2018.

Boštjan Mervar is still on the top of the list with 7 stage victories to his name, Robert Pintarič & Borut Božič follow with 4. There are number or riders with 3 victories: Tobias Steinhauser, Olaf Pollack, Tomaž Nose, Vincenzo Nibali and from last year also Primož Roglič.

This means that we will get hundred and first stage winner on 26th edition of the race. If Marko Kump, Radoslav Rogina and Grega Bole win all stages, then no new names will go on the list – all of them already won two stages. List also doesn’t get a new entry if Luka Mezgec wins – he won as 29th Slovenian in 2017 in Ljubljana.

I’ll do a small gamble and predict that the list will not get a new name after first stage and we’ll stay with the number 100. Brave bet?
